Minnesota Marine Art Museum
The MMAM in Winona, MN exhibits 10 or more historical or contemporary exhibitions each year. The Museum's initial collections focused on traditional marine or maritime art, however, through a collection on long-term loan, today the MMAM is home to a large variety of the greatest European and American masters. Roswell Artist in Residence Program
Well known by artists as the "Gift of Time", the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program was established in 1967 to provide gifted studio based visual artists with the unique opportunity to concentrate on their work in a supportive, collegial environment for a whole year. This "gift of time" allow artists to work without distraction in an effort to break new ground and focus on individual goals.
The Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program serves as a contemporary counterpoint to the traditional arts of the Southwest, reinforces the Program's interest in strengthening the vitality of art in New Mexico and has been a catalyst in broadening community understanding of contemporary art.
Daum Museum of Contemporary Art
Daum Museum of Contemporary Art sheds light on the stimulating complexity of modern and contemporary art by collecting, preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting artworks created since the mid-20th century. In concert with the faculty and students of State Fair Community College, the Daum works to enhance the cultural and educational life of the college, the city of Sedalia, and the 14-county area of central Missouri that comprises its primary audience.
